Jedi: Fallen Order confirmed all of the canonical lightsaber colors when Cal builds his own in the planet Ilum, so Disney should use this spectrum to its advantage and make more characters with unique lightsaber colors. With how many new heroes and villains are being introduced in the Star Wars universe, it would be best for Disney to give them different-colored lightsabers other than blue to make them all more distinct. Jedi: Fallen Order was one of the franchise's first newer canon single-player games and Jedi: Survivor looks to continue the trend in 2023. Cal also seems to be older than how he was in the first game and his trusty droid companion, BD-1, is also set to return. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the highly anticipated sequel to 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Set to continue the story of Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, Jedi: Survivor seems to delve deeper into the darker aspects of the Force, featuring a mysterious hooded Sith character Cal will have to face. From blue to orange, there are many Jedi, both canon and in Star Wars Legends, who wield many sabers of different colors. While most of the villains in the Star Wars saga fight with the usual red-colored sabers, the Jedi and protagonists tend to wield sabers with other colors around the spectrum. Lightsabers are one of the most iconic weapons in fiction, a blade of light used by only the most skillful wielders from a more civilized age. There are many reasons not only as to why Cal's saber color should be changed, but also why Disney should add more variety to their Jedi's lightsaber colors.
